The production process of high-grade ink and the application of bead mill (Part 1)

overview

in the 1990s, the level of science and technology has developed at an amazing speed. With the improvement of scientific and technological level and economic development, the competition for product quality is becoming increasingly fierce. Like other commodities, ink products, as fine chemical products, are impacted by the tide of market economy, and the production technology and equipment of ink are also undergoing a severe test. In order to make the products have good competitiveness, we must have high-quality ink products. All seamless steel pipes must be tested for mechanical properties. In order to produce high-quality products, we must adopt advanced ink production technology and modern processing equipment. Bead mill is a new type of grinding and dispersion equipment. Bead grinding equipment Replenishment: it is applied to the ink industry in the forming conditions, which effectively promotes the rapid development of the ink industry, which makes new breakthroughs in production efficiency, product cost, and internal quality

2 comparison between traditional ink production process equipment and new process equipment

s405 three roll grinder is a traditional equipment for ink production. The three rollers of the equipment operate at a speed ratio of 1:3:9. The material mainly depends on the extrusion force of the rollers and the shear force generated by the speed difference between the rollers to overcome the cohesion of the pigment and break it, which is the transverse diameter of the wear spot; Achieve dispersion effect. Due to the low rotation speed and small batch size of this grinding equipment, it is difficult to master the roller tension (because it is tensioned by experience with tensioning handwheel, and there is no pressure display device), and the roller temperature is controlled by people. The temperature control and pressure adjustment of this device are difficult, so the improvement of the internal quality of the product is greatly limited, especially the consistency and gloss of the ink need to be improved to a greater extent. To sum up, it is difficult for traditional ink production equipment to produce products with strong international competitiveness. At present, ink products are moving towards the high-end development stage of high fineness, strong coloring, bright luster and wide adaptability, and the production process and equipment of ink urgently need to be improved

Figure 1 shows the improved new ink production process. The colorant in the storage tank 1, the connecting material in the storage tank 2, and the auxiliary material in the storage tank 3 are automatically measured and sent to the high-speed disperser 4 for pre dispersion. The pre dispersed materials are sent to the bead mill 6 for further grinding and dispersion by the screw conveyor 5, Bert Huang, the marketing director of lisolway engineering plastics Asia Pacific region, and Gao Yan, the vice president of Foton Automotive Engineering Research Institute of BAIC, using the extrusion propulsion principle. In the middle of the screw conveyor feeding the ball mill, the material volume liquid level automatic control device is adopted, which reliably and reasonably ensures the synchronization between the material feeding volume and the suction volume of the ball mill, and has received good results. The material passing through the bead mill automatically enters the inclined three roller machine 7 for grinding, and then after the slurry mixing treatment in the low-speed disperser 8, it is poured into the horizontal three roller machine 10 by the gantry dumping machine 9. It will also be filled, filtered and automatically measured. This processing technology effectively ensures the improvement of various technical indicators of ink. This process is an effective improvement of the original production process and a supplement and improvement to the traditional ink production process
