Various industries have put forward some technological requirements for flexible packaging production. For example, 16% of food enterprises have strict requirements for flexible packaging through solvent residue control process; Secondly, it is required to pass the ink residue control, strictly deal with waste and defective products, GMP certification and QS certification; Some food enterprises strictly require that the packaging adopt solvent-free compounding, water-based ink and other environmental protection and safety processes. However, 23% of the surveyed users in the pharmaceutical industry require that the product packaging must pass the solvent residue control, and the users require that the products pass the GMP certification and QS compulsory certification. This shows that users in the pharmaceutical industry attach great importance to the quality and safety of packaging. Only packaging products strictly controlled by these environmental protection and safety processes can fully ensure the storage safety of pharmaceutical products. In addition, the tobacco industry also has relatively strict requirements for the control of solvent residue and ink residue of flexible packaging products, because tobacco products are very afraid of the problems such as odor and deterioration caused by solvent and ink residue

the rapid development of China's current industry using flexible plastic packaging will inevitably lead to a wider range of applications of flexible packaging products, which is a great opportunity for flexible packaging factories. However, flexible packaging factories are also facing fierce competition in the same industry and the strict requirements of downstream users. In the "era of low profits" caused by high raw material prices, the large demand for packaging is not enough to be gratified. Zeng Yanju suggested that upholstery factories need to really make efforts to understand the packaging needs of various commodities, adopt new processes to improve the performance and safety of packaging products, and study new functions to expand a wider range of applications, so as to find real market opportunities
