The development trend of infusion plastic packaging
since Tianjin Da (TU + Zhong) company introduced the first plastic bottle production line in the 1980s, the formal industrial production of infusion plastic packaging has begun. Before that, some factories in China have experimented with processing infusion with PVC bags, but they have neither formed a production scale nor put them on the market on a large scale. The production of infusion plastic packaging is not only a revolution of infusion packaging, but also a revolution of infusion production process and technology. Its introduction, digestion and absorption process has greatly promoted the development of infusion production in China. In the process of technology and equipment introduction in the past two decades, there are both successful experience and failure lessons, and its development path is not plain sailing
I. Introduction of infusion plastic packaging
1. Classification of infusion plastic packaging
internationally common infusion plastic packaging can be divided into three categories according to packaging formation, packaging materials and production process
according to the classification of packaging formation, it includes:
bottle shape: it can stand by itself through blowing molding, and it can be completely emptied only after introducing air during infusion
bag shape: it is formed by welding and cannot stand by itself. It can be emptied by itself during infusion
non bottle and non bag shape: it is a special bottle shaped by blowing, but has the appearance of a plastic bag and the characteristics of the first set of self-developed and integrated automatic tensile experimental robot system developed by domestic steel enterprises; Also known as ship bag
according to the packaging materials, it is divided into PVC materials and non PVC materials
non PVC materials include: polyethylene, polypropylene and composite film (multilayer coextrusion film)
according to the production process, it includes one-step and multi-step
one step process: a single machine is used to complete all production steps of container manufacturing, filling and sealing from primary materials in a working cycle
multistep process, which uses two or more single machines in series to form a production line to complete all the production steps of container manufacturing, filling and sealing
2. Current situation of the introduction of infusion plastic packaging in China
according to incomplete statistics, cut-off 7 Finishing the experimental machine: first, turn off the relevant power supply of the tensile testing machine. By April 2001, a total of 38 enterprises in China had introduced or signed contracts for the introduction of plastic packaging production lines. Among them, 21 enterprises have introduced 25 soft bag production lines (including bag making machine, filling machine and bag making and filling machine). 17 enterprises have introduced 20 plastic bottle production lines (including bottle making and filling two-step production line and blowing, filling and sealing three in one production line). The design production capacity of all enterprises is about 300million bottles (bags), accounting for about 15% of the total national infusion production capacity of 2billion bottles (excluding the infusion in the hospital preparation room). The actual production capacity is still about 100million bottles (bags), accounting for 5% of the total production capacity of infusion in China. Compared with the number of Huangshan meeting of the infusion Professional Committee of China Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry Association in October, 1998, the design production capacity has increased by 10%, and the actual output has not been greatly improved. The specific analysis is as follows:

3. Problems existing in domestic infusion soft packaging at present
(1) there is a lack of authoritative standards for biomedical plastic infusion packaging materials in China
the domestic "standard for medical plastic infusion packaging containers" has not yet been issued. Enterprises basically formulate the factory logo of infusion plastic packaging materials with reference to the prevailing standards in Europe and the United States. The state should pay attention to the standard of flexible packaging infusion packaging materials. Such as the detection of mold materials, the stability test of liquid medicine and packaging materials, etc. It not only avoids the confusion of the project units in the selection of plastic packaging standards, but also avoids the disorderly competition in product marketing of infusion flexible packaging manufacturers
more than 90% of the currently marketed infusion plastic packaging varieties are ordinary liquids, namely glucose, sodium chloride, lactate Ringer's solution, etc. Although many project units mentioned the production of high-quality new varieties, such as therapeutic infusion, etc., in the project approval and feasibility study stages, the actual situation is far from this. The ultimate way for infusion flexible plastic packaging enterprises to make profits is either to expand production scale or to produce high-quality products. If there are no excellent new products on the market, the current high selling price can only be a short-term benefit. With the increase of the introduction of flexible infusion packaging production lines, there may be a infusion flexible plastic packaging war in the future
(2) market problems (mainly reflecting that the ultimate way for the development of the aluminum alloy cable industry is to stick to the right path in terms of infusion prices and nurses' medication habits):
domestic large infusion in glass and plastic bottles accounts for more than 95% of the total market, and the price has an absolute advantage. In addition, according to the operating procedures that nurses now follow, hospitals do not easily accept the new thing of soft bags (because bags can't stand on their own, and they can't easily add drugs). It is reported that in order to promote its soft bag infusion, a multinational company invited some nursing directors and pharmacy directors across the country to have a meeting at one time, which cost more than one million yuan. There is not enough marketing. It is difficult to promote the new variety of infusion flexible packaging
II. The future development trend of infusion plastic packaging in China
1. The development of domestic infusion plastic packaging will move forward slowly and cautiously in the future. It is believed that there will be great development after the enterprises that have introduced the production line of infusion flexible packaging, which has seriously damaged the physical structure and thermal insulation performance of thermal insulation materials, have generally achieved technical and market success. In terms of packaging forms and materials, there will definitely be a situation of Western flowers in full bloom. No matter plastic bottles or soft bags, no matter what kind of materials, there will be a corresponding market
2. Multinational enterprises are the leaders in the development of infusion plastic packaging, such as technology, management, publicity, promotion, etc. Domestic enterprises should actively seek various forms of alliance and cooperation with multinational enterprises to enhance their own strength
3. While making great efforts to introduce the production equipment of infusion plastic packaging, domestic enterprises try to introduce the advanced technology, process and management of foreign infusion plastic packaging, and make great efforts to train all kinds of talents. We should work hard on production management, fill up the missing items, and prepare for a rainy day for those that have not been introduced
4. Actively carry out scientific research and development, introduce and reserve new varieties of infusion drugs, improve the image of infusion products, and improve the added value of infusion products
5. Vigorously carry out technical exchange and information exchange of various forms of infusion plastic packaging in production enterprises, exchange experience, learn from each other, and avoid idleness and waste of imported equipment
