In 2014, the GDP growth rate was 7.4%, a 24-year low

China plans to reduce its 2015 GDP growth target to about 7%, the lowest in 11 years, as policymakers try to cope with the slowdown in economic growth, create jobs and promote reform to make the economy more market driven. China's economic growth slows down and the overall resource supply decreases. With the adjustment of the supply and demand mechanism, the demand for terminal plastic products will be affected to a certain extent. Nevertheless, treasure island still has expectations for the stable growth of plastic demand, and the supporting factors are mainly reflected in the following three aspects

first of all, China's urbanization construction has been continuously promoted. The core of new urbanization is the transformation process of population employment structure, economic industrial structure and urban-rural spatial community structure. Its essential characteristics are the spatial transformation of rural population, the agglomeration of non-agricultural industries to cities and the transformation of agricultural labor force to non-agricultural labor force. In the process of urbanization, roads, water supply, housing, communications, medical treatment, sewage and garbage treatment will be constructed on a large scale and in an all-round way. Plastic products are widely used and are involved in the above fields, such as transportation pipelines, water supply and drainage pipes, floor heating pipes, gas pipes, household electrical appliances, wire and cable materials, medical devices and garbage cans. With the promotion of urbanization, there is a certain rigid demand for plastic products

secondly, the transformation of shanty towns stimulates the demand for plastics. Chendavide, Vice Minister of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development, said that in 2015, the scale of shanty town reconstruction will not be less than 4.7 million. In the shanty town reconstruction, infrastructure construction and upgrading of daily necessities will drive the demand for plastic products, such as pipes, household appliances, interior decoration materials, daily necessities, packaging industry, etc

finally, the driving role of the "the Belt and Road". China will invest US $40billion to establish the Silk Road Fund to provide investment and financing support for connectivity related projects such as infrastructure, resource development, industrial cooperation and financial cooperation in countries along the "the Belt and Road". It is preliminarily estimated that the total population along the "the Belt and Road" is about 4.4 billion, and the total economic output is about $21 trillion, accounting for 63% and 29% of the world respectively. As a national strategy initiated by China and promoted by high-level officials, the "the Belt and Road" has far-reaching strategic significance for China's modernization drive and its leading position in the world. The implementation of the "the Belt and Road" will not only benefit the Asian economy, but also drive infrastructure investment. It will support the rigid demand for plastics, and the demand for plastic products will grow steadily

in general, China's economic growth has been adjusted and the demand for plastic products has slowed down. Over the past 210 years, China has been providing protection for military and police forces around the world. The average annual growth rate of the output of plastic products from 2007 to 2011 was 19.3%, and the average annual growth rate of the output of plastic products from 2011 to 2014 was 9.6%. The growth rate of plastic products dropped from the official opening number of two National Convention and exhibition centers located in Shanghai Hongqiao Business District in 2015 to single digits. In 2015, affected by the slowdown of China's economic growth, the demand growth of plastic products is expected to slow down. However, boosted by urbanization, shanty town transformation and the "the Belt and Road", the demand growth of plastic products is expected to remain between 6% and 9%
